Workshop Equipment
A 12,000 sq. ft. shop in Saint-Léonard, bringing expertise and equipment together under one roof.
Universal Crankshaft has been machining, regrinding and reconditioning engines and their components since 1994. This page presents a selection of key shop equipment, not a complete inventory.
Equipment is no substitute for judgment: every part is first assessed by our team to determine the work actually required.
Rottler EM79 — versatile CNC machining centre
The Rottler EM79 is a versatile CNC machining centre. In our shop, it is used for line boring, counterboring, and resurfacing cylinder heads and engine blocks.
These operations are part of our line bore, engine block machining and cylinder heads services.
Rottler SG80MTS — valve seats
The Rottler SG80MTS is a machine for valve seats and guides. Our shop uses it to machine valve seats.
This work is part of our cylinder heads service.
Cylinder Head Resurfacing
For resurfacing cylinder heads, our shop has a Rottler S86A CNC resurfacing machine.
As with any job, the part is first evaluated to determine what is actually necessary. See our cylinder heads service.
Cylinder honing
Our shop performs cylinder honing on a Rottler honing machine.
This step can be part of a broader engine block machining job.
